Welcome - to my website about the genealogy of the Dutch family Kempeneers, in the area of Zeeland. On this site you will find the genealogy of the children of Gillis Kempeneers and Margrieta den Braber

Gillis came from the Dutch province of Limburg to the province of Zeeland around 1800. In Zeeland he met Margrieta, a citizen of the town of Sint Philipsland; he married her in Sint Philipsland in 1801. This genealogy was compiled by their great-great-great-grandson, Jan Kempeneers.

My special thanks goes to the translator of this site. My American cousin Jim Baker translate the Kempeneers Genealogy from Dutch into English. I think he did a great job!
